Our team of Risk Managers draw on their legal experience to provide the program of webinars, articles and live events you’re used to hearing about on this mailing list.

On top of that, we also provide value-add services for many professional indemnity insurance clients of our sister business, Planned Cover. These include the widely used contract review service that highlights certain kinds of uninsured risks in consultancy agreements, and in-house seminars for larger teams which we are currently delivering via webinar.

We’d like to let you know about some changes to our team. In 2020, we have been lucky to have Kerrie McLeish helping us with the contract reviews. Kerrie has just finished up with us.

Next week sees the return of two of our Risk Managers: Kathryn Budd (NSW, ACT and WA) and Cordilia Thomas (Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, NT and Tasmania). They join our existing team of Natalie Sullivan, Felicity Dixon, and myself. You can read more about our team here.

We’ll all be busy in the last months of 2020. While our contract reviews did slow down in the months of May and July, in all other months the level of use has matched 2019, and in October we are seeing a spike of stimulus-related reviews. Meanwhile, the introduction of mandatory CPD in South Australia, and a new emphasis on CPD by the ARBV in Victoria, has stoked interest in in-house seminars/webinars.
