One of our recent recruits, Johanna started her legal career in director’s and officer’s liability litigation. She also worked in regulatory compliance at the University of Chicago and has tutored law students in recent years at Macquarie University. Johanna will draw on her insurance experience to provide clear and concise contract reviews. Although you might detect a hint of an American accent due to her time spent in the U.S., Johanna is in fact half-Dutch.

Stephanie, our second new recruit, joins our team after practising in commercial litigation before moving to an in-house role with a financial advisory and accounting firm. She brings in depth knowledge of risk management and risk controls which are reflected in her contract reviews. An animal lover, Stephanie has taught her dog how to sing. Yes, you read that right – her dog can sing.

Wendy is the leader behind informed by Planned Cover, with almost 20 years of dedicated service. Her strategic thinking and commitment to excellence has steered the team towards continuous growth and success.  When travelling, you won’t find Wendy at any of the usual tourist hotspots – she prefers to travel off the beaten track with one of her favourite destinations (so far) being Iran.

Felicity is the driving force behind our NSW team and seminar program, with a proven track record of construction industry experience and knowledge, building strong client relationships and providing timely and detailed insurance advice. Since joining the company in 2014, her initiatives and customer-centric approach remain key to our success. Her many talents also shine in her down time – she can read Latin and played the violin.

After practising commercial litigation for 10 years, Filomena joined informed in 2022. She is the director of a development company in Melbourne and is at the forefront of issues currently being faced by the construction industry. Her unique position adds to her legal experience and balanced commercial perspective when providing timely insurance reviews. A wanderer, Filomena enjoys traversing Europe in the summertime.

Lisa is the organisational guru of our team who delivers exceptional seminars as well as contract reviews since joining the team in 2022. With a legal background in corporate property law including large scale development projects and government tendering, she also currently lectures and mentors law students. A keen gym member, you will find Lisa on any of Queensland’s many running tracks.

Since joining informed in 2022, Nina has brought a wealth of knowledge and a considered approach to our team. Drawing on her commercial litigation experience, including in construction and building defect disputes, she has a deep understanding of the construction profession which is illustrated in her seminars and contract reviews. An adventurer, Nina loves horses and travels across Australia and New Zealand with her husband’s Supercars team.

Marisa has been with the company for 8 years, bringing creativity and considered thinking to our marketing efforts. Her experience and understanding of consumer behaviour has been instrumental in expanding our market reach and brand awareness. A thrill seeker – she once took a flying lesson, landing a Cessna plane on her own.
