06/03/19 – How to use our Course Credits to help your team earn CPD points

Our online CPD library has about 25 hours of material created specifically for professionals in the construction industry. This includes recordings of our webinars as well as custom-made online courses. Delivered by specialist guests as well as our legally qualified risk managers, our courses cover topics from partial services and copyright, to defective building products and the requirements for using drones.

You can use our course credits as gift vouchers to help your staff meet their CPD obligations and improve their understanding of the broader risks in your business. Our course credits have no expiry date. See below for how to purchase course credits for staff.

You can browse all our available topics here. There are about 20 courses of one hour duration, or you can select three of our 20 minute courses to build your own hour of CPD.

Our courses can be watched on phones and other devices, as well as on your desktop. Once a course is purchased, it stays in your library to watch as many times as you like, and you can pause and return to it at your convenience.

Our courses come with assessment questions to qualify for “formal” CPD points. After completion, you can download a certificate from your dashboard for your records.

How to purchase course credits for your staff

  1. Log in to our website here using your own login (if you don’t have one, register here to create a new account then log in)
  1. In the user dashboard, select “Online CPD”
  1. In the top menu, select “Course Credits”
  1. Enter the number of credits to purchase (1 credit costs $60 and equates to one hour of CPD from our library) and complete your purchase by credit card
  1. If your staff do not already have online CPD accounts with us, create them following both steps 1 and 2 above
  1. Go back to your own login, following steps 1 and 2 above
  1. In the top menu, select “Course Credits”
  1. In the “Transfer Credits” section, enter the email of your staff member, and how many points you want to transfer to this person. You can make multiple transfers to different staff until you’ve used up all the credits you purchased.
  1. Your staff member can then log in and use the course credits to purchase courses.
